Detoxification is the body’s way of removing toxic substances. It is a very complex system which initiates at the cellular level. Detoxification also involves many organs and systems including the liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, and gastro intestinal (GI) system. These organs and systems are constantly at work and need to be functioning at optimal levels. For this very reason, there are so many products on the market promising to engage and assist the body’s organs and systems in the detoxification process. However, many detoxification products focus on a single system or organ, leaving the others congested or full of toxins, and ultimately at some level of dysfunction. CELLULAR FUNCTION AND DETOX
Improving the detox process starts with ensuring the bodies’ cells are functioning optimally by allowing all metabolic waste to be released. This is the initial detoxification process and is critical to support cellular health. Humic and Fulvic is a key ingredient in aiding optimal cellular membrane function and providing Natural Bioenergetic Delivery (NBD) – which permits the body to absorb and use the other key ingredients at the highest possible rate. Again, optimal cellular function is critical for improving and maintaining effective whole-body detoxification.
THE LIVER
The liver is considered the master detoxifier. It acts as a filter removing toxins that our body produces as part of normal metabolism. The liver breaks down these toxic by-products, so they can then be filtered out through our kidneys. It also helps eliminate pathogens like viruses and bacteria, cholesterol, hormones, and external toxins such as alcohol, drugs, chemicals, and heavy metals. THE KIDNEYS
Similar to the liver, the kidneys also act as a filter, sifting out waste and undesirable substances such as medication byproducts, and harmful chemicals out of our bodies. In addition, the kidneys keep our body in balance by regulating fluid and electrolyte levels. This is vital for maintaining the body’s pH balance, allowing cells to perform their critical functions, and also aids in controlling blood pressure. THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM
Lymph is the fluid that circulates through the entire body. It’s part of the larger immune system whose essential role is to protect our cells from foreign substances and eliminate them from our bodies. The lymphatic system consists of your spleen, thymus, adenoids, and tonsils all connected by a web of capillaries, vessels, and hundreds of lymph nodes. This unique system plays a large role in detoxification, with its main job of transporting white blood cells (aka lymphocytes) that help fight infections and protect against harmful toxins. THE GASTRO INTESTINAL SYSTEM
The gastro intestinal (GI) system is the body’s watchman and first line of defense against foreign, toxic, and harmful elements and biological entities. The GI system filters out bad elements while trapping and absorbing the good ones. The ingredients in CLEAN HEALTH provide aid to the GI system in filtering out bad elements, either by assisting the cells in releasing the toxins, or by binding to the bad elements to be eventually excreted out. Ingredients such as Humic and Fulvic, Activated Bamboo Charcoal Powder, and Glutathione (as Setria®) accomplish these roles.

Advanced Detox Support with Humic and Fulvic
Milk Thistle Extract (80% Silymarin) – The terms “milk thistle” and “silymarin” are often used interchangeably. Milk Thistle is used for liver disorders and gallbladder support and detoxification. Milk Thistle is promoted as a dietary supplement for hepatitis, cirrhosis, jaundice, diabetes, indigestion, and other conditions.
N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) – N-acetyl-L-cysteine is a chemical precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s most important antioxidants. It helps protect your cells against free radicals.
Glutathione (as Setria®) – Present within every cell, glutathione is the body’s primary defense against free radicals, and is naturally produced by the body. Unfortunately, the body’s need for glutathione is sometimes outpaced by its ability to produce it. Glutathione is a natural detoxifier that helps to eliminate harmful toxins in the body, supporting liver health.
Burdock Root Extract – Burdock root helps induce lymphatic drainage and detoxification. Research suggests that it works as a blood purifier and blood cleanser. This helps strengthen the lymphatic system. Burdock root is also a natural diuretic and can naturally help your body eliminate excess water by increasing urine output.
Dandelion Root Extract – Dandelion Root is an excellent source of potassium, a mineral and electrolyte that stimulates the heartbeat. Potassium may help the kidney filter toxins more effectively and improve blood flow. The polysaccharides in dandelion are known to reduce stress on the liver and support its ability to produce bile.
Astragalus Extract 10:1 – Astragalus is used to protect and support the immune system, preventing colds and upper respiratory infections, lowering blood pressure, treating diabetes, and protecting the liver. Astragalus has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Betaine HCI – Betaine HCl (a compound that contains hydrochloric acid) often relieves the symptoms of heartburn and improves digestion, at least in people who have hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid).
Choline bitartrate – Choline is needed to properly transport fat from the liver to cells throughout the body. A benefit of choline is cleansing the liver because choline is partially responsible for keeping the liver clear from fat build-up that can accumulate and cause harm.
Activated Bamboo Charcoal Powder – Activated charcoal benefits major organs by helping the body flush out the toxins and chemicals that cause the internal damage.
SUGGESTED DETOXIFICATION PROTOCOL:
Take 1 capsule in the morning with 8 ounces of pure water. Use this dosage for 1 week.
Weeks 2-12 take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening between dinner and bed with 8 ounces of pure water.
It is very important to drink plenty of water while detoxifying your body. A good target is to divide your body weight in half and drink that many ounces. Example: You weight is 150 pounds divided by 1/2 = 75 ounces of water.
After the 12th week, reduce to 1 capsule per day for maintenance.
PULSING CLEANSE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR:
After your initial 3-month cleanse using 2 capsules, you can do a 30 day cleanse every 6 months using the 2-capsules dosing as recommended above.
Use 1 capsule daily for 5 months. On the 6th month, use 1 capsule 2 times per day for 30 days. Then go back to the maintenance dosing of 1 capsule per day for 5 months.
Note: If you increase and notice any undesired effects, please reduce back to one capsule for an additional week and then re-introduce the second capsule.
